TOMMY HILFIGER was founded by Thomas Jacob Hilfiger, designer of upscale clothes and accessories.
Coming from an Irish Catholic family, Tommy Hilfiger is the second of nine children. He has clear from an early age that he wanted to work on fashion. Thus in 1969 began working as hippie clothing distributor. Then, at the beginning of the disco era (late 70s and early 80s), he worked on the brand Jordache.
He created his own line in 1985 and since then, TOMMY HILFIGER has established itself as one of the major clothing brands worldwide.
